When you come from Minneapolis, you don’t know any better. I was born back in the 19 hundreds. My parents were Vikings...so I had an exciting childhood, but, as it goes, I took a different direction with the piano tuning...it turned out to be much more my nature. Why piano tuning? In college I was a psych major...and it just seemed to naturally go into that. And now, I happily live in a pre-war building in Midtown West. (That's pre-WW III.)

Happiness is definitely not all it’s cracked up to be….to quote one of my many postcards:

Happiness is overrated………
what I wouldn’t give for just one
melancholy day.
